WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF A DENTAL EMERGENCY
If your orthodontic appliance has broken or become loose, call us as soon as possible. We prefer that you call one of our Utah County offices first, because it allows us to make time to see you and give you the attention you need from our emergency orthodontist.
Dental issues and accidents can happen at any time. Sometimes they require immediate treatment, and when that is the case, we are here to assist. If you are searching for emergency dentistry in Gallatin, we are your solution.
If you already have a regular appointment scheduled, please inform us of your orthodontic emergency ahead of time so that we can be prepared to take care of your braces in the most effective and comfortable way.
You may not know whether your situation would be considered an emergency. The following situations are instances in which you will want to call us:
- If a band or a bracket comes loose, or if you have broken wires on your braces, please contact us immediately.
- If you have problems with your Invisalign trays or any other part of your Invisalign treatment, please contact us.
- If there is a wire or some other part of your orthodontia that is causing pain please contact our office and we will be able to give you directions over the phone or schedule an appointment if necessary.
- If your retainer gets broken or lost, you will need to call us right away so that we can schedule an appointment to replace your retainers.
- If you run out of wax or rubber bands, you will also want to contact our office so that we can get you stocked up on these essential items. You can also obtain wax at many drugstores or department stores.
- If you lose a separator during treatment, we are happy to provide a replacement separator, so please give us a call.

Meet Dr. Christopher J. Trapnell, D.D.S., M.S.
A Dental Experience That Feels Like Home
Dr. Chris Trapnell completed his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University; he went on to earn his doctorate from the University of Colorado and his master’s degree in orthodontics from the University of Louisville. He has been providing outstanding orthodontic care since 1999. He maintains active membership with the American Association of Orthodontists and Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists.
Outside the office, Dr. Chris loves spending time with his family, his wife Sheri and his children Michael, Nicole, Samuel, Connor and Aubrie. He volunteers his time to the Boy Scouts of America and is an active LDS church youth leader. He also enjoys flying, camping, river rafting and hunting.
Meet Dr. Greg Trapnell, D.M.D.
A Dental Experience That Feels Like Home
Dr. Greg Trapnell completed his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University and earned his doctorate from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He earned his specialty certification in orthodontics from Jacksonville University. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists.
Outside the office he volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America and is a LDS church leader. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Noel and his three children, camping, riding his motorcycle and river rafting.

It is our mission to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget! We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. If you have any questions about financing or payment, ask us! We will thoroughly explain your choices and work hard to accommodate your needs.
If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Insurance policies vary, so we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claims.

Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
